Boys with Odd Names more Likely to Commit Crimes

Boys with unpopular names are more likely to commit crimes. The Researchers are not sure whether they are treated differently by their peers, or whether disadvantaged children are more likely to have odd names, or whether something different is behind the statistic.

A cautionary note to mothers and dads choosing names for their children, an odd moniker is now likely to draw the attention of authorities when trying to figure out who is destined for a life of crime.  A good reason to stick to popular names.
