Obama warned Republicans against listening to Rush Limbaugh. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Web site hosts a petition against Rush Limbaugh. A Republican representative from Georgia, while defending his leadership speaks dismissively of Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. All of this has resulted in:
Rush doing an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal. Rush receiving more support emails than protesting emails from the DCCC website; and the representative called into the Rush Limbaugh show today to apologize for his “Foot and mouth disease,” during a statement to Politico yesterday.
Rush also illustrated the extent to which the main stream media has not taken apart the Stimulus bill to illustrate to the American people the outrageous and ridiculous things that are in the bill which have nothing whatsoever to do with stimulating job creation or stimulating business.
Yellow Lime and Michelle Malkin make note of some of the most ridiculous earmarks in this bill. 1.5 billion for a carbon capturing contest. 1.5 billion for “homelessness prevention activities” (READ ACORN), 200 million to shape up the National Mall, 400 million for HIV tests, 45 million for ATV trails and more.
